By default, the 16x16 option should be enabled (the one that doesn't start with // ). It's pretty unlikely that the texture pack you'll want to use is 16x16, so enable the line that corresponds with your texture packs tile size (remove the // in front of the correct line, and make sure the other lines start with // ). Save your changes to the file.

Process

For a basic installation, run the file named INSTALLER and click "Install Mods". minecraft.jar must be in the same directory as lwjgl.jar.

Common Errors

Help! I get an error while installing!

Please make sure you are installing this mod on a clean, unmodded installation of Minecraft. Also note that this mod is currently incompatible with the Optimine mod.

Bumpmapping looks weird or doesn't work at all!

The following should get bumpmapping working correctly (as long as your graphics card is compatible):

1. Go into \mods\shaders\alternative shaders\daxnitro-bump mapping and copy base.fsh and base.vsh and place it into \mods\shaders\contents\files\shaders and overwrite the files if you're asked.

2. Open the previously mentioned base.fsh with your favorite text editor, and look for the following code:

const vec3 intervalMult = vec3(0.0039, 0.0039, 4.5); // Fine for 16x16 tile size
//const vec3 intervalMult = vec3(0.0019, 0.0019, 0.5); // Fine for 32x32 tile size
//const vec3 intervalMult = vec3(0.00048828125, 0.00048828125, 0.2); // Fine for 128x128 tile size

3. Place a terrain_nh.png made for your texture pack into minecraft.jar. You can do this one of two ways:

Open minecraft.jar with WinRAR, 7-Zip or other program, and place terrain_nh.png into the root directory. Terrain_nh.png an terrain.png should be right next to each other.
OR
Place terrain_nh.png into \mods\shaders\contents\files. The installer will automatically place it in the right spot when you run it.

If it still isn't working, chances are you didn't start with a clean minecraft. jar, or your graphics card isn't compatible.
